TBA® Summer School
The proof of principle of a successful new concept started in the field of education with the TBA® Summer-School 2008-2011.
This for medical students cost-free column within the section education comprised various contents in surgery, as its adjacent compartments as clinical lectures, tutorial working lectures in surgery and academic surgery, as well as in interdisciplinary subjects, an alumni conception and much more.
This included anatomy, pathology, biometry, suture techniques, endoscopy, visceral-, heart-, thoracic-, vascular, earn-nose-throat, orthopedics and trauma-surgery and minimal invasive approaches. Adjacent multi- and interdisciplinary subjects compromised oncology, pathology, immunology, radiology, health-care and –politics, psychology, leadership, research and science as well as planning of the conception of an academic career.
Medical Students came from all Medical Universities in Germany (Aachen, Berlin, Bochum, Bonn, Cologne, Dresden, Düsseldorf, Erlangen-Nurnberg, Essen, Frankfurt am Main, Giessen-Marburg, Gottingen, Greifswald, Halle, Hamburg, Hannover, Heidelberg-Mannheim, Homburg, Jena, Kiel-Lübeck, Leipzig, Magdeburg, Mainz, Munster, Munich, Regensburg, Rostock, Tübingen, Ulm, Wurzburg, Witten-Herdecke).
But also accross from Europe, like Austria (Graz, Innsbruck, Salzburg, Vienna), Great Britain (London), Norway (Oslo), Slowenia (Maribor), Switzerland (Basel, Bern, Genf, Zurich), Japan (Tokyo) and the USA (Boston, MA).
